I write about how systems produce violence, and I build small tools that try to interrupt some of it at the layer I can actually reach. Reframe structures LLM prompts to route through critical-theory frameworks before responding. Autograder reads student work with a local LLM and surfaces patterns for the teacher. The publications develop the theory; the software experiments with what happens when you try to put pieces of it into prompt-time scaffolding.
Research
An elder said: "Did you ever consider that it isn't a bird?" It was a moth. That question reorganized fifteen years of fieldwork and five research programs.

Teaching
Ethnic Studies was created by student strikes. The pedagogy should honor that — consensus-based, horizontal, survivable. No late penalties, reading equivalencies, emergency flex weeks.
